How install Renault CAN CLIP V160 on Windows XP

Run DTLite application to install

Select a setup language

Step 2 – run Crack Renault CLIP

Go to DAEMON Tools Lite

Select language and click Next.

Manufacturer:Renault. click Next.

Step 4 – setup CLIP properties

Open CLIP properties on Desktop

Open file location:

Cut RSRWin application in local disk C:/ CLIP_X91/ Lib/ Application

Paste RSRWin application on Desktop

Close CLIP properties

Replace RSRWin with another RSRWin application in Computer/renault can clip disk E:/Activation(Patch V3)

Step 5 – register CLIP

Run RSRWin application in local disk C:/ CLIP_X91/ Lib/ Application

Accept the license and register CLIP

Are you part of the Renault Network? Select No.

Enter the unlocking code with the picture guide Renault Clip Registeration Step 4 in the folder Activation(Patch V3)

then click Confirm.

Registration successful: click OK.

Replace “RSRWin” in C:\CLIP_X91\Lib\Application with”RSRWin” on Desktop

Prompt: installing device driver software…

Step 6 – setup in Computer management

Automatically install driver software

Open computer management

select Device manager->Bosch automotive service solution device->18-alliance vehicle communication interface

close Computer management

Tips:

Please do not update ICOM, otherwise it will not work, for example when I click “Diagnose” the system will get prompt saying “send email to obtain ISTA/D license, license warning.”, then the diagnostic function and programming not work. The solution is to send back main unit to the supplier.

1) BMW ICOM Operating System

Generally speaking, ICOM software is tested ok on Win 7 and win8. It depends on the hard disk you got, usually the supplier will mark the required OS when you purchase.

2) Internal hard disk or external hard disk?

Following are some views from other users:

External hard drive is a much more versatile solution, and it was my initial choice. If laptop broke, you could just plug it into another machine.

Only downside is it’s a lot slower than running it from disk, because of VMW are overhead.

Now I have it loaded on a machine-specific hard drive which I have installed in the machine. It is much faster.

If you use it 2 or 3 times a year, a VM solution is perfectly fine. I did that for a few years myself.

If you use it quite a bit (with 3 MB’s in the house hold, I use it all the time) then go machine-specific hard drive.

Also remember the external hard drive hangs off the machine and can be damaged as you move the laptop around. If you pick up the laptop, the USB drive unplugs, then it will fall to the ground and you’re cooked.

Internal is so much nicer because now I just have the multiplexer and laptop to carry to the car. Nothing needs to unplug or fall off.

• Common HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or SSD (Solid State Drive)?

Generally speaking, SSD is stable with 256GB at higher price. However, common HDD with 500GB is at lower price.

First, you need a BENZ Infrared Adapter and VVDI MB Tool

 

Then the connection

Connect EIS with correct cable on the bench.
Connect device OBD line to cable OBD head
NOT CAR OBD

Next, go to read EIS password

Step 1 – select working key, communicate mode and chassis
Warning: this operation should perform on the bench
Step 2 – press “Data acquisition” to start with the following steps:
1) connect device OBD line to cable OBD head on the bench
2) connect IR adapter to VVDI MB Tool
3) data acquisition
4) 50% complete
5) 100% complete
6) save acquisition data
Step 3 – press “Update data” to send acquisition data
Step 4 – press “Query result” to get result

Warning:
1 this operation needs about 2.5 hours. Don’t perform this operation on the car
2 connect EIS to correct cable before continue
3 don’t connect ESL to cable
